  • Definition and Features of Hypnosis
  • Dissociation
  • Hypnosis: Myths and Facts
  • History of Hypnosis
  • Hypnosis as Communication
  • The Essential Elements of Hypnosis, Engaging and Building Rapport
  • Inductions – Breathing & Magnetic Fingers
  • Demonstration – with Breathing and Reversal

BREAK 15 MIN 10:45 TO 11:00 AM

  • Practice 1 – Breath Induction and Reversal
  • Demonstration: Magnetic Fingers, Breath Intensification and Reorientation
  • Practice 2 – Magnetic Fingers Induction and Reorient
  • Discussion – Q & A
  • Preferred Sensory Modality
  • Practice 3 in pairs

  • Introducing Hypnosis to Your Patients/Clients and Managing Myths
  • Practices 7 & 8: Explaining Neuroplasticity and Introducing Hypnosis to Patients/Clients
  • Pacing and leading:  Engaging and Providing Direction for the Session
  • Language of Invitation vs Language of Prescription

BREAK 15 MIN 10:45 TO 11:00 AM

  • Group Demonstration: Invitation vs Prescriptive Language Applied to the Favourite Place Experience
  • Group Discussion Underscoring Key Elements of Invitational Language Dissociation and Multisensory Suggestions
